Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
VCU's 3 losses are to #2, #12, and #24 in the newest AP poll.

Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
VCU is right where most I think thought they would be at this point save maybe the loss to the Shockers. Speaking of which I do not mean to downplay the road win at VCU by the Shocker but "99" votes for a team that has virtually played no one is early gifting IMHO. I want to see them against the Vols in a week or so on the road to see if they truly are worthy of so many votes. I get the Shockers are undefeated but if that close one against AFA is any indication I am not sure they belong in any TOP 20 discussion. I still think VCU beat themselves against the Shocker more so than the Shockers outplaying the Rams.

Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
Yeah missing 12 free throws will do that. Alas, it's on our guys to knock them down and they didn't.

Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
Apparently, the Navy Seals don't spend much time practicing their free throws.

So if Muddy starts trolling your school, does it mean that you've made it?
I feel like we've officially established ourselves as an A-10 member now that this has occurred.

Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
Dayton lost to weeber and their RPI dropped by a 100 and X won a road game @ Purdue, so he has some angst this week. Don't worry, he'll be back badmouthing X at the first sign of any trouble.

Well...almost. To fully arrive you need to have your own, personal TeaParty wacko...not just some Swampy Meadows wannabe.

Re: College Basketball AP Poll Discussion
You've only arrived when Muddled compares your incoming recruits' HS stats to Dayton's future all Americans (i.e. future transfers or players who amount to being average at best)

Maybe one day we'll be as big-time as Dayton and have such a poster, but I genuinely hope not.

He has? I have him on "Ignore", which is what I recommend you to do as well, so I don't have to read the drivel he posts on the topics that I am interested in.

It was intended only as a bit of humor, with no animosity towards VCU or the Rams' fans. I have the utmost respect for Shaka Smart (and Brad Stevens) and the outstanding basketball programs they have built and brought to the Atlantic 10 Conference.
