Whar's up at Butler?
"Now freshman guard Chris Harrison-Docks is transferring. Bulldogs liked his upside, too."

Re: Whar's up at Butler?
Wow. That is weird... I had heard really good things about him as a player as well.

Re: Whar's up at Butler?
That is VERY good news. He was never going to play and it opens up another scholarship that would've been dead weight. This is the best news I've seen in a while. (That includes signing the two Rivals 150 guys and Chrabascz this month)
He wasn't even the 13th man. A walk-on sophomore had passed him. BU would have Evan Smotrycz on the team today if it only had an opening in May. Open scholarships are GOLD |

Re: Whar's up at Butler?
Of course its a great thing to reclaim a scholarship/fix a mistake.
He was not only buried by EVERY SINGLE scholarship player, but a walk-on as well. Whomever is added, they've be joining Nolan Berry, Rene Castro, and 3-star Andrew Chrabascz (NB & RC are in the Rivals 150). There's some potential for the 5 to be a pretty special group. My preference would be one more 4-year player and then one of the top-level transfers. Its a great day. Having two scholarships available to use on whatever you'd like in May isn't great news for y'all though, I'd imagine. Last edited by Title_BU; 11-09-2012 at 04:08 PM. |

Re: Whar's up at Butler?
Is this a serious post? Why would any team care that Butler has an open scholarship in May right now? Considering that according to you they wasted it on Harrison-Docks, isn't there a pretty good chance they'll waste it again?

Re: Whar's up at Butler?
I don't speak blithering idiot, but can someone translate "It'll probably be a transfer along the lines of Rotnei Clarke or Evan Smotrycz and another fringe 150 kid."
Hell it could be Shelvin Mack they got him in the late period too. Last edited by Title_BU; 11-09-2012 at 06:26 PM. |

I didn't say it wasn't possible to get a good player, just that no one really fears your open scholarship. Take another sip of the koolaid..... |

Well, maybe the second biggest tool on the board. I thought Muddy had the biggest tool award sewed up for the past few years and for the indefinite future.
