Possibly the worst game I've ever seen Dillard play at UD and he somehow managed a double double
Can't remember which Temple fan kept saying Sanford was nothing but an average A10 player...if that... well, I'm chuckling a bit now. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VerticalSports.Com App |

Re: 11/10 A-10 Games
Wasn't there a discussion in the Williams vs. Dillard thread where someone posted that Dillard would never have a 3/13 game because he would stop shooting? Ah good times.

Re: 11/10 A-10 Games
Vee Sanford was awesome. Kid is a player. He is smooth shooting the ball and a damn good all around athlete.
Dillard really struggled early, ASU has quick guards and good length. But he fought through it and ended up with a pretty damn good stat line. Josh Benson looks better than ever. Easy 14 and 8 from him on 7-9 shooting. The 15-18 footer looks to be a weapon for him now, which could make him into an all league player. He and Vee both had to sit for several minutes with fouls, which helped keep the margin down. Khari Price sat out with a concussion, I think, but all three freshman that played looked pretty good. The bigs were taken to school on defense a couple of times, but that happens. Dyshawn Pierre is an athlete, man. And a decent shooter to boot. None will be stars right away, but they will all be positive contributors. This freshman class can play. All in all a good, solid opener. It was nice to see Gavrilovic play 18 minutes. He looked gassed at times, but that's to be expected early. He certainly didn't lose much if any weight from the Mono. He could be back to normal in a couple weeks, sooner than expected. Arky State was a fun opponent to watch UD play. They are very athletic and made some insanely tough shots. They'll compete in the Sun Belt for sure. Kendrick Washington is a damn tank.

One thing about Vee that will be surprising to people who haven't watched him is his athleticism. Its way up there for a SG.
IF Benson continues to hit the the 15+ foot jumper (3/4) today and one was darn near a three, he will be very very hard to guard. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VerticalSports.Com App |

Benson looks good. He can nail the 15-18 footer which is going to make him tough to stop.
