Didn't Colorado win the Pac 10 Tournament and go to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament, beating UNLV and losing to Baylor last year? I'm not sure how many guys they lost (ruling out a Xavier-like offseason meltdown), but I'm expecting a stern test.

Sorry BM-GW,

The only factors that are relevant for the purposes of recognition on this thread are:

(1) The game must be played during the 2012-13 regular season.

(2) The game must be played against a non-conference opponent (i.e. today's Buter-Xavier game is ineligible).

(3) The Atlantic 10 team must be favored to win the game according to the latest spread posted on this MB.

(4) The Atlantic 10 team must lose the game.

Well, the loss is supposed to be to a clearly inferior team. And it usually takes place on the home court of an A-10 team.

This would indicate that Butler might qualify today.
Then again, maybe we can change the rules as we go along and not count loses at the NCAA play-in arena.

This thread only exists as a repository for Xavier's inevitable loses. We'll probably see this thread sink if Dayton takes one on the chin. Unless Muddy's "fanbase" takes it upon themselves to bump it so that they can use their logic to finally prove him wrong. Which he will admit to graciously.

Incorrect.

I anticipate that Xavier will be the underdog in most of their 2012-13 regular-season non-conference losses.

An underdog in a game is not eligible for recognition on this thread, because an underdog is supposed to lose the game.

So if Dayton is favored by 1 over Colorado in two days (not saying they will be - just purely a hypothetical), or if Dayton is favored by 2-3 home to Illinois State who may finish in the top 50 RPI (which I do expect Dayton to be a slight favorite), then it's a bad loss if they lose? There has to be some better way to classify a 'suck factor' game than a loss to a potential top 50 RPI team.

Perhaps favored by 5+ or a loss to a bottom 100 team or something.....
