Shoot me in the face for posting this, but Muddy has a few valid points to identify a suck factor loss.

I would draw the line at losing a game when you are a double digit favorite as s suck factor loss. Any game within a single digit spread still gives the underdog a some reasonable odds of winning. You want to split hairs and say anything more than a two possession spread, that works for me too.

Ultimately, I think we can all look at a game and just kinda know what is and isn't a bad loss based on the smell test.

Wow at least now I see somewhat solid teams on this list. Before you could count on teams who would likely finish in the 250+ rpi to be on this list. I could see any of these teams in the top 150 of the RPI. Youngstown State might not make the tournament this year, but they'll give Valpo and Detroit tough games.

i wouldn't call the st joe's game a suck factor game, 1 point on a neutral floor is basically a toss up
