Re: Xavier v Butler, Butler v Xavier
It's going to be epic when Xavier loses for the first time this season...if that happens. Heh.

Re: Xavier v Butler, Butler v Xavier
Why would that be "epic"?

Just to let you all know, I know exactly how and where each team in the A-10 will finish this year. I have been 100% accurate for the past 13 years. I simply choose not to share this information with the likes of you.

We're all happy for Butler. That was a great win for the league, the second best win we've had so far in this early season. We'll see if it has bigger significance for their season. I suspect not. UNC probably runs them out of the gym today, but that means nothing, they'd probably run all of us (save maybe SJU and Temple) out of the gym right now. Unfortunately for them, their third game is likely to be a glorified exhibition against Chaminade.

Re: Xavier v Butler, Butler v Xavier
No. Marquette isn't a BCS school - - it doesn't play D1A football. It presently is a member of a hybrid BCS conference, but a conference that is about to lose its BCS designation.
I know what you're thinking and you're right for perception purposes, but thin is the BCS blanket that presently wraps around a small number of Catholic hoops schools. It is thin, it is tattered, and it's about to fall off. |

Re: Xavier v Butler, Butler v Xavier
It's gonna be crazy this year. Nice job by BU. These last second heroics may be the norm in the A-10 this year. Nice to have BU and VCU join the party. Don't think anybody's gonna run the table for sure. Should be fun.

Re: Xavier v Butler, Butler v Xavier
Crazy finish and nice win by Butler. For the BU fans out there, What are your impressions of Rotnei Clarke at the point? My immediate thought when hearing this was it would mess up his offensive game. I know he put up some points yesterday but I see he is 10-31 from 3 in the first 3 games. That is not exactly what was expected of maybe the best shooter in the country as far as career numbers go. Any thoughts?
