Brutal first half for VCU; they're fortunate to be down by just 4. No flow on the offensive end, a lot of jump shots, 5 for 12 from the line and Havoc did nothing for them. Nice 20 minutes for Wichita.

Impressive whooping of Butler by Xavier. Butler looked physically overmatched.

The first couple posts by some of the UD guys.. I felt like I was in the spin room after a political debate.

But then it became obvious after the spanking there wasn't much spinning that could be done. Maybe (just maybe) Xavier isn't entering the multi-year suck-factor/mediocrity patch that so many on here were predicting.

I think you can see how VCU (and Wichita) can become really good teams, but neither is playing very well. Ugly game.

Juvonte Reddic is going to be a stud in this league.

As for Butler, what a shock, Rotnei Clark is not a point guard. This team doesn't have a point guard and that's going to be a lot of trouble in a conference with guards as good as the A10. Welcome to A10 basketball.

Great job by X. Congratulations on a big victory, and maybe these guys you have left just weren't getting enough touches in the all Holloway/Lyons offense of the past. They could really flourish this year.
