Well, this was Scissum's tweet and now he has deleted it. I am not sure what the heck is happening. Maybe he will be a Ram or maybe not. Weird because another confirmation of VCU was deleted. Other recruited sites confirmed him to VCU. Maybe he wants to come but it has not been accepted or it is a hoax. Wild stuff. Ha!
Welcome to VCU Gerron. Now I think Coach Wade is going to fill 3 more spots. I am guessing to big men (centers) and a shooter.

Scissum is listed as 6'7-6'8 and he had gotten interest from Maryland, Arkansas, Bama, and he had offers Ole Miss, DePaul, Chattanooga, Richmond and Murray State among others.
Here is listed just beneath Malik Newman and Brandon Sampson as a top player in his region.

"Scissum may be the least talked about player on this list, but he is a sleeper on the national radar, and high-major programs are starting to take notice. At 6-foot-7, he has a versatile game and can play multiple positions on the floor, making him even more valuable to coaches.
A month ago Scissum was set on making a decision soon, but with some new high-major interest, those plans fell through. Florida Atlanta, Louisiana Tech, and Murray State are all heavily involved, but Maryland evaluated him a few weeks ago and liked what they saw. The Terrapins could be a factor in his recruitment going forward."
here's some comments on his motor/effort

"This was the second straight Saturday that we had seen Scissum play. Much like the eval last week at the Jared Cook Classic, the 6-8 unsigned senior was effective around the rim with his athleticism and energy. Scissum’s willingness to play hard all of the time separates him from some of the other available power forward prospects that we’ve seen to date. A three-star prep, Scissum holds offers from Chattanooga, Florida Atlantic, Mercer and Tennessee Techamongst others."

"Scissum put in work day 2 of the Best of the South Tournament at Suwannee. Gerron scores it extremely well from 18ft and in with dribble pull ups, catch and shoot, as well as putting the ball on the deck to use his craftiness and tight footwork to get high percentage close range shots. Scissum is very versatile, his athleticism, length, and ball skills enable him to be highly effective on the glass on both ends of the floor, defend multiple positions, and provide offensive punch from all over the court. He also demonstrated great decision making with the ball in his hand in transition."
