Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Final: Colorado 67, Dayton 57 (Charleston Classic - ESPN Box Score) The Flyers played hard enough to win, but the shots wouldn't fall for them. Credit Colorado's outstanding defense. Dayton shooting: 33.3 % FGs, 23.8 % 3-Pts., 71.4 % FTs. Colorado shooting: 44.2 % FGs, 43.8 % 3-Pts., 58.3 % FTs. Dayton vs. Colorado - Play-By-Play (Charleston Classic - ESPN)

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Competative game throughout. Just couldn't make shots for stretches. Stating the obvious.... You cant have:
Sanford 4 of 11 Dillard 4 of 12 Benson 4 of 12 Shoot 33% as a team and survive against decent opponent

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Its a shame Dayton couldn't come away with the win here. They controlled the first half.

With game two more or less a formality, if we win tonight, we're in a bracket with Oklahoma State, Tennessee and presumably NC State. Lose and it's Akron, UNC Asheville and presumably Penn State. |

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
It felt like this one slipped away by a combination of sloppy Dayton play and the Buffaloes shooting lights out from downtown. Given the remaining competition, it is imperative that Dayton win the next two.

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Dayton really misses Chris Johnson. As an X fan I sure am glad he's gone as well as Paul Williams who always seemed to elevate his game against Xavier.

Puerto Rico Tip-Off is the #3 ranked preseason tournament. Not bad. http://ht.ly/fk9Kp

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Dayton may get a shot at Baylor afterall. BC leads by 2 at half.

Seriously, I think KD needs to get used to playing on a more crowded court. Last season, it was him, one big, and three guys who were at least somewhat threats from the 3 point line on the court with him. This season, there is only one other shooter on the court, and it shows. Oliver being a reluctant shooter at the 3 spot hurts. We might need to start another shooter at 3. Dyshawn Pierre (who looked very good today)? We honestly seemed to get better looks when KD was out in the first half. |

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
My Predictions (each > = 5 points in that winning team's direction):
NOTE: I am sorry for being late on my predictions, just haven't the time to post prior to the games. Colorado>>>Dayton (yes, this is after the fact, but this would have been my prediction anyway.) Richmond>>>>>>>>Hampton UMass>>>>Providence Z8's Record to Date: 21-6.
