2½ hours after the game ends, z8-Minutemen predicts its outcome and gives himself credit for a correct prediction. Marvelous. What kind of thread are you running here, owlfan2272 ?

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Muddy, way to neglect to post the rest of the quote within the parenthesis'. I explain that this would have been my original prediction anyway, and admit to being a little off on the score when I make my pick. But sure, twist my words because that's what you do all of the time, Muddy.

Just stop, man. First, no one cares. Second, are you really going to try to claim credit for a prediction you made after a game is over? Also, did it count as a "win" for z8 when you predicted Duquesne would lose by 40 but they fought Georgetown until the end before losing by 8-10? |

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Yes, Twisted, I understand. The point is a "win" for z8 should not be only about the team he picks. His prediction was off by 30 points. If he was putting money on his prediction in Vegas, he would not have won.

2nd, yes I will claim credit for that prediction. I had originally seen that game on the schedule and thought, hmm I think Colorado will win by 15. I did not have access to the website prior to the game, which is understandable, considering that it was played early enough that it was during my lunch break. I admitted I was off on the point differential, but Colorado still won, so I'll take credit for the win. And yes, the Georgetown win did in fact count as a win, regardless of my miscalculation of the score. It's all about the pick, either a win or a loss. The score differential is just to add more substance and intrigue to the posts, as simply win or loss predictions would get a little tiresome and annoying to the audience. I hope this cleared things up.

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
I think the Bonnies are going to win the A-10 tournament last year.
Bona Wolf's record to date: 1-0

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
Dukes ended up losing by 6. zh8's margin of error was very small, a mere 34 points.

Re: 11/15 A-10 Games
I wonder if that would work at the Hilton?
"Hi, I'm here to collect my winnings on the X game." "No sir, you lost; nothing to collect." "But, but, but...the Mighty Xavier Musketeers won the game!" "Sure they did. But your Mighty Xavier Musketeers sucked against the spread." "What?" "The spread sir. See those funny little >> things?" "Yep." "Well...each one of those represent 5 pts. Your team had to win by more than 10 to cover the spread." "So...you're telling me that my team won and I lost my money?" "Yep." "Well...that really sucks. Just when I was having fun. I think your way is tiring and annoying."
