Tied at 10, then BC hits their third 3-pointer to take a 13-10 lead.

BC shooting 71% from the field and 75% from downtown.

Can see why BC picked to finish 16th in ACC. Hope they can contest at least one shot in the 2nd half.

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games

The fact that these games are all streamed is making me a much less productive member of society.....Random thoughts in no order.

Dayton much more athletic, much better team than BC.
Color analyst is awful.
The bottom teams from the "power" conferences are sliding lower each year in comparision to the rest of the country.
I don't love Dayton's blue uni's
I do like Vee and Robinson a good deal, Pierre too

The Dayton Flyers get their first BCS-conference scalp of the season:

Dayton 87, Boston College 71 (Charleston Classic - ESPN Box Score)

# 16 Baylor 84, Boston College 74 (Charleston Classic - ESPN Box Score)

. . . and gave the Eagles a worse hiding than Baylor did.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freshmen Dyshawn Pierre: 23 points and 3 assists.

Junior Devin Oliver: 17 points and 8 rebounds.

Freshmen Jalen Robinson: 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Senior Kevin Dillard: 14 points and 2 assists.

Junior Vee Sanford: 10 points and 8 assists.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dyshawn Pierre's line: 8-8 FGs, 5-5 3-pointers, and 2-2 FTs. 3 assists and 0 turnovers.

Dayton shot 62 % from the field, 57 % from downtown, and 79 % from the FT line.

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games

UD 87 - BC 70.

Nice solid thumping following yesterday's loss. Get a day off, and hopefully they come back strong vs either Auburn or College of Charleston.

Any idea how good either of those teams are? Auburn's been "ok" the last handful of years (or at least the year UD played them a few years back and perhaps 1 or 2 more compared to their usual bottom of the barrel SEC team), Charleston used to be really solid, can't remember how they've been of late. Auburn is the bigger "name", would Charleston be the bigger RPI booster?

I would say the Pierre as a starter experiment worked out. He didn't miss a single shot all day.
