Re: 11/16 A-10 Games
Lack of structure offensively and defensively is alarmingly bad for UMASS... Too many easy baskets for NC State..
Williams just plays out of control sometimes.. You would have thought he would have learned that in the offseason |

# 6 N.C. State vs. UMass - Live Box Score (ESPN) Minutemen down 53-35 with 17:42 left to play in the game.

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games
I'm looking for guts right now. Game's lost, but don't give up uncontested shots, get on the floor for a ball, etc. This is an opportunity to get better.
Still way too undisciplined to beat a team like this. |

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games
UMass is what we expect. A good team with excellent athletes and all the ingredients to get into the NCAA tournament. But a team that also has clear limitations and a style of play that can be exploited by better-coached teams.
I expect 20 wins or more - and lots of teeth grinding. NC State was a bad matchup and hopefully the players figure out how to play with more care. |

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games
Pierre was fantastic, as was Robinson for Dayton. Pierre had a dream day from the field. He was 8-8 on FGs, 5-5 on treys and 2-2 on freebies. Last time a player had a game like that was Delonte West, against Xavier I believe.
Dayton was a very well coached team too, from what I saw. But I thought Oliver was actually the team's best player. He was outstanding on defense and did a bit of everything on offense. |

Re: 11/16 A-10 Games
I didn't get to see the game today but Pierre must have been killing. Putting him in the starting lineup moves Oliver to his more comfortable power forward spot and obviously puts another shooter on the floor.
