Re: 11/17 A-10 Games
The game wasn't even a 21 point one, as we had a 29 point lead before we cleared the bench with about 5 minutes left. Lamar is a bad team, and will be an rpi anchor this year. Unlike the team from last year, they are young and turn the ball over all the time, while having no 3pt game (I think they shot 0% from the 3pt line tonight). The frosh again played well, especially Ingram. Mayfield looked solid in his first game, sees the floor very well, strong around the rim.

Re: 11/17 A-10 Games
In my humble opinion, Rhode Island has turned in the most impressive performance of the night so far: Quote:
Best of luck to Coach Dan Hurley and his Rams this season!

Re: 11/17 A-10 Games
Cause for concern?

Re: 11/17 A-10 Games
Seemed like the refs had it in for Kanecevic. Tough, physical battle down low all night, and he gets foul #4 on a total touch flop by the FSU player (who I wasn't even sure was set) and foul #5 on a borderline call on a rebound. Not that he was playing all that well anyway, but his passing might've helped make FSU pay for all that pressure man D.
Thought SJU played pretty well, but needed to figure out how to deal with those alley oops. Tough when FSU is so athletic. |

Re: 11/17 A-10 Games
I thought St. Joseph's looked the part as far as their preseason pick as favorites in the A-10. Very talented and impressive all-around.

We did not shoot well, but I think we did pretty much everything else well. Offensive rebounding: +13 Rebounding: +14 Assists: +10 Turnovers: +5
