In the grand scheme of things, this loss means nothing. There will be plenty more losses this season. Rather lose a game this way this year when it has no meaning than in another season when it may.

I will say this, Kyle Vinales from CCSU is a very very legit guard. IMO would be starting for quite a few A10 squads. Saw him in summer league and he was the best on the floor including former URI star and some a couple big east players. Tough night for the A10. I went to the first half of the URI game and they looked in control. They looked very good on D.

So, you go ahead and be all over me when Xavier loses one it isn't supposed to lose. Because we both know that LaSalle's resume stacks up equally to Xavier's resume in this league. We have no wiggle room in all this, just like LaSalle. Yeah, right.

It isn't about me being relentless. Did you not bother to read the other less-than-complimentary posts aimed at LaSalle, regarding this ridiculous loss. What it is about is LaSalle FAILING YET AGAIN, AND EARLY - - AGAIN.

LaSalle NCAA Units since joining the A10: what is that tally? Yep, you go ahead and let me have it once Xavier loses one it shouldn't lose. Oh, wait a minute. We were already supposed to have lost by now, yet we're 3-0.

If you want to be mad about reactions like this, go ahead. Frankly, I'm sure as a proud alumnus of LaSalle this stuff drives you crazy. But let me assure you that fans of other schools in this league are driven more crazy than you having to put up with LaSalle's ineptitude YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT.

You can be mad all you want to be, but LaSalle has no standing here until it begins to actually contribute to this league.

Yeah I did bother reading the other less than complimentary posts on here. I always read all of it. And you know what? La Salle sh*t the bed big time and there's no denying it. But there's also no denying that every chance you get you just love to step in and tear down La Salle. You're like clockwork. You say it's not personal, but you can never help yourself from throwing fuel on the fire. THAT's what I have a problem with.

That's your perception.

It may look that way to you. But, believe me, I don't take the time to tear down LaSalle every chance I have for doing that, because I don't have the desire or time for doing that. It isn't pleasurable to watch or learn of a conference mate losing in the OOC, regardless of which program is involved (I don't even think that way when Dayton is involved, even though this board is populated by a few ultra-douchebag Dayton fans).

I'm sorry you have to go through what you have to go through as a fan of a program that once truly witnessed great days. I really am.

I saw the loss.

I saw who the loss was to.

I looked at the calendar.

And I reacted.

You need to understand - I'm sure you do - that while a program can control much of its own fate, the schools to which it ties itself in a conference affiliation has some effect on it. That comes in the form of both money and perception. It is an absolute fact that LaSalle has NEVER carried its weight in this conference since joining it. That is frustrating. There is no getting around that, for you or for me or anyone else around here who gives a sh!t. On that note, you can't possibly believe that I'm the only one that feels this way around here. I just happen to post about it, but not every opportunity I otherwise have for doing that, contrary to your above accusation.

I believe the performance issue - in general, not just in LaSalle's case - is more pronounced than ever. Now more than ever, this conference needs to position itself strongly if it wants to survive the realignment process. I try to watch that closely. This football realignment business will most likely affect us, because it absolutely is going to deliver the destruction of the BE conference as we've all known it. The BE was already near terminal status, but this weekend's news, coupled with the BE losing its BCS conference status when the new BCS contract engages, will seriously damage its ability to negotiate a meaningful TV deal and retain a membership mix that will be sustainable in its current hybrid format.

You seem to be a reasonable poster, except for when you and I go at it over me posting about LaSalle. How's this: it's early, so we'll see what goes from here. I'll get back to my preoccupation with conference realignment, and watching whether or not Xavier can navigate what otherwise is supposed to be its first off-season in many years.

Of course you don't because you're so full of yourself and your program that you, the wise and all knowing self appointed guardian of the league are going to preach to the unwashed what our role in life is. Oh thank you big brother for enlightening me. I would have never, ever figured out what La Salle's problems were without you. Get a grip on yourself for god sakes.

Xidash behaves much like Pavlov's Dog whenever La Salle screws up. He must have been shot down big time by a former girlfriend who was a La Salle co-ed.

With proper therapy and the right cocktail of meds he should recover.

Did anyone catch the episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia from two weeks ago? In it, Dennis disparaged the psychologist they were visiting because her degree was from LaSalle. Poor LaSalle people can't catch a break.
