I ran across this on the Sports Illustrated web site

I sure hope the A10 stands strong and picks what it wants instead of being picked over. For once, the A10 will have the upper hand, and for once, the A10 has a leader that knows what she is doing. Finally.

it loses credibility when referencing the Providence Journal (they are an awful paper) and i believe that was some the paper was suggesting could happen, not that it was going to happen

I don't know if I am right about this - yet. PC article was rather speculative.

But I sure do hope no one creates posts every time that I am wrong. This board would clutter up pretty darn quick!

I like how "Big East COULD disband" stems from the voting procedure in the conference by-laws.

It's no different than saying Notre Dame COULD join the SWAC for football. All they need is for their AD, President and Board vote yes to the move!

And don't forget they'd also be voting to give up that small chunk of change from NBC!

Journalism died in 2008... when the "mainstream media" annointed you know who as President.

Worst case for Temple but I still don't think the A-10 is just going to add the catholic schools. I see the catholic schools trying to keep the big east name and handpick who they want.

I hope so but we haven't had a lot of luck in the realignment stuff. If enough teams get poached from the ACC like they may be expecting than you would have to think we start being on their radar but I am assuming the worst until something good happens from this.
