I like to see the confidence with which Devin Oliver is playing. Dayton has missed three fairly open layups so far, though.

Weber State at Dayton - Live Box Score (ESPN)

Halftime: Dayton 25, Weber State 20.

After spotting Weber State an early 8-2 lead, Dayton has slowly taken control of the game.

Other than missing half-a-dozen layups, the Flyers looked pretty good in the first half.

Archie Miller gave freshmen Khari Price, Jalen Robinson and Dyshawn Pierre a lot of minutes in the first half.

I expect the Flyers to do better in the second half.

24-24 GW tied with James Madison at the half
34-32 Richmond leads William & Mary at the half
32-28 St Joes leads American U at the half
47-33 Duquesne leads Appalachian St at the half
25-20 Dayton leads Weber St at the half
37-29 Ohio leads St. Bonaventure at the half
34-24 Siena leads UMass at the half

Dayton 25 - Weber State 20 at the half despite a 12-4 Dayton advantage in turnovers. Not a great half, but in the lead. Weber State is a disciplined team with a lot of decent players and no real stars. If Dayton can make some inside shots, they should be able to pull away. We'll see.
