Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
We were up 11 at one point in the first when Pecora decided to sub out our best player and sub back in a senior former walk-on that he put on scholarship and is also starting. Harvard goes on a 19-2 run. We finishe the half down 36-33. He keeps that senior in for the second half and we build a bigger deficit. Finally takes him out and we go on a run, cut it to 4 but it was not enough. Not sure why Pecora is doing this when we have some scholarship players on the bench.

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
I got to go to the Dukes game today and I was fairly impressed. Quevyn Winters can release his shot faster than any player I have ever seen. You give him 2 inches or half a second and the shot is already in the air. Pretty much the opposite of Damian Saunders.
I'm very happy Duquesne won by >>. Maine had some scrappy and useful big guys to go along with a couple nice guards. Alasdair Fraser gave Marhold and Abele some trouble with his post moves and quickness. Edwards had some pretty unbelievable shots fall. It was fun watching him play since his Dad was there cheering pretty hysterically in his son's jersey. It is a shame Umass continues to play poorly.

Also, PJ Torres was ejected for a flagrant elbow.

Gee, Mack can coach. Who knew?

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
Xavier makes it SEVEN straight wins over the BIG10!
I think that's 4 in a row over Purdue. Semaj is a freakin' stud. Best freshman I've ever seen at Xavier. Heck, the kid is playing at level few guards have at Xavier regardless of class.

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
I think that's five straight over Purdue. As nice as it sounds to get a win at Purdue, I recognize that Purdue is putrid. And Vandy is even worse. So I'm expecting two really nice sounding wins in a row that don't mean that much (other than with the Purdue game it's always nice to win on the road).

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
Nice road win by X. 7 Big Ten Victories in a row. Landon Amos? Good grinder win. We had trouble with their Monsters inside. Semaj plays whole game and gets 25 in his FIRST true road game. Great perimeter D. Purdue 0/17 from three and 0/9 by DJ Byrd.

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
Dee Davis, Travis Taylor, and Jeff Robinson combined to go 3-22 from the field!!
Confidence building win for a young Xavier team that starts 2 sophmores and a freshman.

Re: 12/1 A-10 Games
Really St. Joe's aren't you supposed to be the league's best? I'm starting to think Martelli isn't as good a coach as I thought he was.
