6 and a half points aint 30 points. Losing to a top 25 team is never a bad loss per se, but that is horrendous.

Purdue isn't putrid, they are strong inside and defensively. A lot of high level athletes. Terone Johnson is as quick and as good going to the rim as anyone. They just can't shoot for shit. They were 0-17 from 3 and shot 35% overall. The fact that they still had a chance to win with a few minutes left shows they were doing pretty much every thing else right.

Boilers may not be a tourney team this year, but don't discount your own win. Going in their gym and getting a win is a nice statement.

Yikes St. Joe's.

I'm hoping for big things from Bonas tonight. I'm not hearing good things about any of UB's guards so hopefully Schmidt can get it figured out. If Mosely/Kloof is your best option, figure out a way to play them. Maybe Gathers can spell the point for a bit (he hasn't seen much time any other way).

It was a nice road win in a tough environment, especially with so many of our guys having bad days. But I really don't think Purdue is all that good. I'd be really surprised if they made the tourney.

Really embarrassing loss today by St. Joe's. The supposed "best team" in the A-10 shouldn't get absolutely embarrassed like that even on the road against a good team. Really poor showing today by St. Joe's.

Me, too, Wolf. They lost at Ohio because of turnovers and not making free-throws. I think they put it together tonight.

Bad timing for the Hawks - Creighton losing at home to Boise State really put their team in a foul mood going into today.

Given Creighton's broadcast rules for most of their home games, I'm guessing most SJU fans didn't have to see that debacle.

As for Xavier, always nice to get a road win on a B1G home floor. I wonder what the excuse will be for Purdue losing this one.
