If the league can keep it up in the noncon sked, the A-10 will be in a great spot to get 5-6 bids.
Hope it continues. Umass might be disappointing, but they're still no more than -1 off the pace. In fact no teams are more than -1 off the pace.

I don't know if you were more conservative than usual with the lower achieving teams in the conference, but usually by this point there's at least one or two teams unexpectedly collapsing (-2, -3, -4) which offsets the surprise overachieving teams. That isn't happening so far this year.

I don't think I was more conservative than usual. Normally when we have a team whose bottom totally falls out, it's because of injuries or coaching. The league's coaching situation is probably as good as it's ever been and no team has really been devastated by the injury bug.

I didn't expect much from Fordham (crazy noncon sked with few home games), Rhody or Duquesne for obvious reasons. Only Fordham looks be worse than expected of those three.

Clearly, X is the big upside surprise this year. I went very cautious with the Muskies because I thought their backcourt would be weak. Instead you have a frosh in Christon playing like a First Teamer. Had I expected that I would marked at least 2-3 additional wins. Who knows, he could end up being one of the league's best freshmen ever.

Not a pleasant thought at all.
