I don't think I was more conservative than usual. Normally when we have a team whose bottom totally falls out, it's because of injuries or coaching. The league's coaching situation is probably as good as it's ever been and no team has really been devastated by the injury bug.
I didn't expect much from Fordham (crazy noncon sked with few home games), Rhody or Duquesne for obvious reasons. Only Fordham looks be worse than expected of those three. Clearly, X is the big upside surprise this year. I went very cautious with the Muskies because I thought their backcourt would be weak. Instead you have a frosh in Christon playing like a First Teamer. Had I expected that I would marked at least 2-3 additional wins. Who knows, he could end up being one of the league's best freshmen ever. |
