Halil suspended
Halil Kanacevic of St Joe's suspended for two games for flipping the double fisted bird to the Vilenova crowd.

In the other thread a SBU poster indicated that Coach Phil Martelli once flipped off the crowd in Olean. Was he ever suspended or reprimanded in any way?

No but I assume it was because there was no proof of it.

I don't believe so, RF1. Martelli's only real issue at Bona was the screaming match with the old lady behind the Hawk bench. The double bird was never reported, but anyone I know who was in the student section that day still laughs about it when it comes up.

I am surprised Guster didn't pick up on this... bird flippin' is a tradition at SJU at least since 1990...
