Re: 12/15 A-10 Games
Nice to see Matt Derenbecker have a good shooting game. If he can become a reliable shooter, it will really open up Dayton's offense by drawing a defender out to 25 feet.
Devin Oliver and Jalen Robinson flat out owned the glass tonight. 14 boards for each. Robinson got his 14 boards in only 20 minutes. I despise rebound margin, but for 2 guys to out-rebound an entire team...that's impressive. Oliver has become a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor. I've been all over his potential since he got on campus, and he is passing up even my hopes for him. If he keeps it up, he's going to see his name on one of the All-League teams. Khari Price played very well defensively, and put up 5 assists to just 1 turnover. Kid is a really good backup guard as a frosh. Very real potential as he matriculates.

Seeing some nice lines from Oliver.
Looks like he's growing up fast.

Too bad La Salle couldn't pull out against Bucknell. That would've been an awesome win. Bucknell is seriously underrated.

Yeah Mike Muscala is a quality big.
Lehigh and Bucknell will be an interesting battle in the Patriot. Those are 2 seriously good teams.

Re: 12/15 A-10 Games
I have to echo some of Adam's thoughts. Oliver is suprising to me. He is not a very good shooter from the perimeter, but he is filling up the stat sheet because he has all the other tools and a motor. He has become a rebounding machine. He came to UD as a two-star recruit with a lot of doubters.
Archie predicted Derenbecker getting back to normal soon in the local paper before the game, and then he steps up and has a big shooting game. We need a 3pt specialist in a big way. I hope this continues. After this game, he is shooting 41% from 3 on the season. That is quite a turn-around. Dyshawn Pierre is a player. Bonnie fans called this one. I am very pleased that we landed him. Our schedule is tough from this point forward. Much will be proven or disproven about this team soon.

And you are right about our schedule moving forward. I looked at it yesterday from Warren Nolan and the rest of our OOC is against all Top 100 RPI teams, with the exception of one (and that one is like 120) and then we open up our first two conf games with @VCU and home vs. Butler. As of now: Illinois St. 47 Murray St. 26 @USC 115 UAB 136 @VCU 30 Butler 2 @LaSalle 31 Looks like USC fell from the 90's yesterday but still....tough schedule coming up. Re: 12/15 A-10 Games
i think ranking the wins from yesterday would be
1. Butler (beat #1) 2. URI (easily beat 8-1 SMU) 3. VCU (convincing win) 4. Fordham (Good neutral site win) 5. St. Bonnies (impressive butt kicking) 6. UMASS (nice OT game, but should have been easier) 7/8/9 Dayton, SLU, Richmond (all games that should have been blow outs)
