Re: 12/19 A-10 Games
This is a very different Canisius team from a year ago. All due respect to WH, but he commented negatively in a thread weeks ago about the Bonnies losing at Canisius to a team that won, I think, 5 games last year. The makeup of the Griffs is very different than that team last year, including the coach, and Billy B. Hate to see the Owls lose, but a part of me says good for the Barons, and good for Western NY, Little 3 basketball.

Re: 12/19 A-10 Games
That's true but it was at home and Temple's OOC schedule sets up for no real quality wins unless of course we beat Syracuse or Kansas and right now I am not feeling that happening.

Re: 12/19 A-10 Games
Final: Illinois State 74, Dayton 73 (ESPN Box Score) The Redbirds gave the Flyers everything they could handle, and then some. Dayton took 2 game-winning shots in the last 2 seconds of the game, but both of them rimmed out. Illinois State out-shot Dayton across the board and out-rebounded the Flyers as well. Weber State II. Gotta do better against Murray State on Saturday. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Final: # 11 Cincinnati 60, Xavier 45 (ESPN Box Score) Selected RPI Rankings - December 19, 2012: 33 - Cincinnati 54 - Xavier 56 - Illinois State 70 - Dayton ---------------------------------------------- Edit: 2 - Colorado 102 - Weber State

Re: 12/19 A-10 Games
How about my Mighty Dukes! Bring up a nice win on national television.
Derrick Colter continued his coming out party, ending up with 25 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 block, 2 turnovers Sean Johnson had a nice game with 18 points and some very key plays in the second half. The Jim Ferry express pushes on.

Re: 12/19 A-10 Games
This is a "bad" loss. I know Canisius is a pretty solid MAAC squad but we can't afford to lose a game like this. I don't see anyway we beat Syracuse and Kansas. A week ago I was at least hopeful against Syracuse. Detroit becomes a dangerous game too. If we want to have a shot at the tourney we'll have build our resume in conference.
