8 games for the A-10 on Wednesday. Xavier renews the rivalry with #11 Cincinnati at 7 pm on ESPN2 as 7.5 point underdogs and I'm sure last years game
won't be brought up at all on the telecast. Duquesne is a 4.5 point favorite at home as they play 7-3 Western Michigan at 7 pm. St. Bonaventure is a 20.5
point favorite hosting the Citadel at 7 pm. Temple is a 9.5 point favorite at home facing 7-2 Baron led Canisius team at 7 pm. Dayton is just a 4 point
favorite at home as they face the 8-3 Illnois St Redbirds also at 7 pm. UMass is facing Ohio at home in a virtual pickem game at 7:30. Charlotte hosts
Radford as a tuneup to their big FSU game this weekend at 7:30 pm. Finally Saint Louis is a 22 point favorite at home playing Eastern Illinois at 8 pm.

obviously it's just one game but i have a feeling minuteman nation is breathing a bit easier tonight. we won with room to spare without a good night from williams or vinson. our frosh pg gave us 10 really good minutes and ran the deciding run for us in the second half. many of us have been waiting for morgan to break out and he did in a big way. cady lalanne gave us a double double off the bench. interesting that ohio didn't attempt to zone us once, but then again, once morgan got going he probably took the zone off the table.

Pretty much how I feel. Morgan was unreal. Lalanne and Davis impressed, and so did Esho as well. Chaz and Putney's play this year thus far is concerning, though it looks like the rest of the team is up to the test. Chaz will pick it up eventually, not sure about Put though. We're #36 in RPI right now and I feel pretty good about the team, let's keep it up.

Z8's Record Tonight: 6-2.

Their losses have been to teams with a combined record of 46-11. Not sure how these are bad teams.

Georgetown (9-1) RPI 35
Pitt (10-1) RPI 14
Albany (9-2)RPI 84
North Dakota State (9-3) RPI 67
Robert Morris (8-4)RPI 114

Please point to bad loss.

Dukes freshman Derrick Colter was a handful for the Broncos (7-4). The quick, 5-11 point guard entered the game with an 11.1 scoring average, but finished with a career-high 25 points, six rebounds and three assists. Colter finished 4-of-11 from 3-point range for Duquesne, which improved to 6-1 at home.
“That’s a heck of a player. We had to try to keep him in front of us and we really struggled to do that. When we did, he hit a couple of circus shots,” WMU coach Steve Hawkins told Sean Fagan on the Bronco Radio Network during the postgame show.
“There’s not a lot of folks that have people to keep him in front of you. When we used some help, he dished the ball off. When they hit shots, they’re really difficult to guard. … They earned the win.”

DAYTON (-4) plays Illinois St at 7 pm

74-73 Illinois St over Dayton

Muddy, doesn't this count as a "suck factor loss" by your own (dumb) made up system to identify these things....?

Canisius?

WTF
Bona fans are used to asking themselves this question every other year or so, but there's some ancient rivalry heat attached to it. These Griffs are no joke. I knew they'd be tough when the NCAA gave Billy Baron a waiver. The previous coach was a train wreck and Baron has established some guidance for players who previously resembled open gym rats. I expect CC to be the top team in the MAAC all season. With that said, I'm pretty stunned they kicked the door in and won at the Apollo.

Temple in the first half actually played probably better than they have so far this season but that second half was just an absolute train wreck. Scootie missed like 7 open 3's, Khalif just shot whatever the hell he wanted and Canisius just hoisted up 3 after 3 and nailed them all. It was somewhat a fluke win but the bigger concern for Temple is that they simply rely on jump shots and that's great when they are falling but when they don't you better have a backup plan and right now we do not.
