The UMass and NIU game was very sloppy to watch. I think the reason why the game was so close was because of the offensive boards. UMass had 3 all game versus 16 for NIU. NIU had a lot of second chance shots. On a more positive note, it was good to see Carter, Riley, and Esho have good games. At the end of the day, we got the W and avoided an RPI killer, so I'm grateful for that.

Not at all.

I have been posting for years that I root for all Atlantic 10 teams to win all of their non-conference games, and Xavier is no exception.

However, I would be delighted if Xavier went 0-16 in conference play.

Xavier up 33-31 with 11:13 left in the game.
