Re: 1/5 A-10 Games
UAB likes to get up and down, and so does UD. UAB is avg. 78 ppg this year. They probably will get that tonight, but UD is on pace for about 90.
Dillard has 7 points, 7 assists and only 1 turnover. Vee with 12 points. |

Re: 1/5 A-10 Games
What a good first game of the season for me to get out to. I guess they wanted to put on a show for me. I returned the favor by being the halftime entertainment - I somehow ended up in a fat suit sumo-wrestling with my buddy at half-court.

Re: 1/5 A-10 Games
5060 in attendance in amherst today, i can't remember the last time we drew over 5k in wintersession with nary a student in sight. student attendance had been strong so if the minutemen continue to play well we'll be looking at a nearly full mullins center from late january on. i think butler and possibly st joes could completely sell out, which hasn't happened since December of 2008 against bc.

Re: 1/5 A-10 Games
Dayton 78, UAB 71 (ESPN Box Score) Dayton lets UAB nibble away at a 16-point lead (61-45), but the Flyers never trailed in the game and the outcome was never in doubt. Once again the Flyers had a lot of trouble against a zone defense in the second half. Josh Benson with 20 points (9-12 FGs) and 8 rebounds. Vee Sanford with 19 points (6-11 FGs, 5-7 3-Pts.) Kevin Dillard shot the ball poorly (1-9), but he finished with 14 points, 10 assists, and 2 TOs. Devin Oliver had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Unimpressive second half from the Flyers, but a win is a win.
