Dillard actually finished with 14 thanks to his lights out free throw shooting. He lived up to Wimp Sanderson's praise from the line.

We need a strong man in the middle. Robinson is coming along little by little, but he needs help inside. I really love Vee Sanford. That guy was a steal.

Re: 1/5 A-10 Games

Dayton looked very good offensively for the first 30 minutes. They scored at will in transition, torched them in man to man, and did well against the zone. The problems started when Dayton fell in love with the three. Archie was pissed, at one point just putting his hands on his head in disgust with the team. They finally started attacking and got back to the line, which opened up good 3 point looks again, and not surprisingly, Sanford and Price knocked 'em down. Dayton was 7-20 from three, but probably 7-12 on good looks. Selection is key. When they avoid the temptation to chuck a three just to chuck one, they shoot well.

Defensively Dayton did ok, transition D lacked at times. UAB is quick and moves the ball well. Dayton got a ton of deflections.
