No telling what Xavier's starting line up will be. It has changed almost every day. More than likely it will be Davis, Christon, Martin, Philmore, and Taylor.

If Temple plays like they did versus Syracuse or Kansas they will win this game but the problem is you can't count on that type of effort. Any road game to Xavier will be a difficult one even with the recent troubles, Temple really needs this one after letting that Kansas game slip though. I hope we win but it will be a close game.

Wow if I had a ton of money to blow, I would be loading up on Temple.

To be clear if I live in California and have Directv, i am not seeing this game tonight?

Well we've been in the CAA so we're used to being in a less than premier league. Hopefully Bernie would be proactive about getting some decent schools in, though no one would replace X, Temple, or Butler. Dayton's facilities, fan base, and resources would not be something that we could replace either.

The best face to put on the situation would be that VCU would like be one of if not the big dog in the A-10 if that panned out. There are still some decent programs (St. Joe's, UMass, Richmond etc.) and others that are good from time to time (St. Bonaventure, La Salle). GW has shown it can be good (Hobbs years in the mid-2000's) and URI looks on the up and up with the Hurley's out there. It would be far from ideal, but better than staying in the CAA (current #25 RPI conference).
