Butler's Clarke, VCU's Graham make CBSSports' Top 50 bball players

Quote:
Back in October, the four CBSSports.com college basketball writers – Jeff Goodman, Gary Parrish, Matt Norlander and Jeff Borzello – ranked the top 100 players in the country. We based those rankings on the impact we thought players might have in the 2012-13 season – the potential each player had for the next five months. As a result, talent sometimes trumped production.

This list isn't that. This list – also voted on by the four hoopheads – is more about which 50 players had the most impact on the first two months of the season. If a player is a future lottery pick, but struggled for the first half of the year, it's likely he won't be near the top of this list. It doesn't completely match the midseason All-Americans, as those were solely from Goodman and Parrish.

42. Rotnei Clarke, 6-0, SG, SR., Butler: Could have the edge for A-10 Player of the Year honors after dropping 28 in the opener. Best shooter in the country?
Quote:
45. Treveon Graham, 6-5, SG, SOPH., VCU: The Rams are a nightmare to play against, and Graham is one of the key reasons. Makes plays at both ends of the floor.
