Re: Game Thread: Temple @ George Washington (Wednesday 1/16/13)
The fact that DeCosey isn't starting over Randall is insane and just demonstrates how clueless Dunphy is. This team has no interest in playing basketball.

Re: Game Thread: Temple @ George Washington (Wednesday 1/16/13)
It's amazing how bad Scootie is out there. From A-10 player of the week on Week 1 to perhaps the worst A-10 player the rest of the season. I get that he has good defense but his offense is just killing us because you can't depend on Rahlir or people like O'Brien/Pepper to contribute majorly on offense. If Khalif was more consistent we might be able to cover it up but it's a rollercoaster on which Khalif you are going to get. Lee has been the only guy who has brought it all season but that's not enough.

My sentiments exactly. The moment Randall turned around and took that 18 foot fade away I would have benched him and put in DeCosey to finish the half. The guy can't play basketball well anymore. Until he proves he can be a serviceable player out there, I don't want to see him on the floor.

Our talent level is not very good and we have guys playing out of position. If we had a true PG, Wyatt and Lee would be much more effective game in and game out imo. And if we had a true a center, or another 6'9 guy willing to get nasty, Lee would be a monster 4.

I regret complaining so much about Juan Fernandez at point during his time because I would take him back in a millisecond compared to this.

It's a testament to Dunphy's inability to recruit bigs.

Khalif taking shots like that just kills us, leads to an easy basket the other way. Going to be hard to win this.

Re: Game Thread: Temple @ George Washington (Wednesday 1/16/13)
Rahlir misses some of the easiest shots then does a flagarant foul and so instead of a 3 point game it could be a 7-10 point game. Simple things.

This is just some ugly basketball. If you were watching this without knowing it's GWU and Temple you would think it's a NEC game. The level of execution is horrid.
