Re: 1/23 A-10 Games
Uh, Dayton has turned things back on. KD is a monster tonight. I should switch to pretty much any other A10 game. I can't stop watching the Flyers, though.

Re: 1/23 A-10 Games
Fordham's been competitive, but they caught Dayton at the wrong time.
I'd love to see the Bonnies finish this one off and for Xavier to put together a few scoring possessions right about now. |

Re: 1/23 A-10 Games
SLU won a road game.
That was a baseline performance...it roughly shows how badly you can play and still win.

Re: 1/23 A-10 Games
What an action packed night in the A10. Xavier and Butler fall from the ranks of the undefeated and Dayton gets off the schneid in style. Throw in a St. Bonaventure road upset, a gutty GW win and St. Louis pulling away late, and there really was a lot going on. (And that blowout against Miami not looking too bad for Charlotte. They just eviscerated Duke tonight.)

Re: 1/23 A-10 Games
Well, as predicted, the GW-URI game was great. Andre Malone got red hot in the 2nd half for URI, but the freshmen duo of Joe MacDonald and Kevin Larsen won the game for GW.
With URI up 5 with the ball and about 4 minutes to go, MacDonald took a charge in transition. Then he hit a 3 to tie it with about 3 minutes to go. Then Larsen hit a 15 foot jumper to give GW the lead. URI had the ball down 1 and ran an excellent set of screens to get Munford on Armwood, and Munford beat him for a layup that Armwood couldn't quite block. But with :07 to play, Joe MacDonald hit a pull up jumper to win it (just like he did in the last minute to seal the UMASS win). URI missed a three, and then Larsen blocked Hare's shot at the buzzer to end it. Larsen scored all 10 of his points in the 2nd half, MacDonald had 11 of his 12 in the 2nd half. Very clutch game, and tough. I like where both GW and URI are headed in the next couple of years.
