The tainted philly cheesesteaks. That gave me a much needed laugh. Too bad Sean is not still at Xavier, could have been the Miller Lite Bowl or something.

X at 74 in the RPI, Dayton at 108. I actually feel better about this X-ud game than I did last year as long as I don't see Paul Williams, Fab or Chris Johnson. Those guys always elevated their games against X. X by 10 similar to X's last 2 home games against LaSalle and GW.

If X can play the Butler/Purdue/Lasalle defense I think we have a good chance. I only voted for Romney so we could have another "head" @ the game. We don't score a lot of buckets this year. Could be too much "palpable" pressure @ home.

You guys are forgetting about the "palpable" home cour disadvantage that X is going to have to play against. It should be overwhelming. I think Robinson's,Redford's,and Taylor's heads are going to simultaneously combust if they get behind early.

Oops didn't read Mudflaps post. Sorry for repeat pressurizing things.

Games like this usually provide an MVP from the unlikeliest of players. Remember Will Caudle?

I have to disagree that Chris Johnson elevated his game against X. I thought he struggled some. Paul Williams definitely elevated his game against X. I think you posters are the ones feeling the "palpable" pressure right now.

Remember Will Caudle? How could we forget? But you are right Landon Amos will probably score 7 like he is Andrew Taylor or something.

I can't tell you how happy I am not to see Paul Williams and Fabrizius on the court. I'd much rather have Vee and Derenbecker. Dillard and Christon going head to head should be a treat.

True but Williams and Fab usually played out their asses against X. Agree the Dillard, Christon matchup should be fun. I'm interested to see if Semaj's length will give Dillard problems.

I hope Dillard and Christon guard each other. Do any Xavier fans think they will? Not having a good sense of their team, I would think Redford would struggle to match up defensively with our starting guards, but he must but a better defender than he has been in the past. He has been playing 30+ minutes in low scoring games, so he must be guarding someone.

I am worried that UD will try to cross match the guard, putting Dillard on Redford and Sanford on Christon. I hope they do not do that. Do you all suspect Mack will take the same approach?

I can't imagine Sanford guarding Christon. Christon is just too quick for him, I think. Hopefully Price will actually play. He's the kind of irritating defender you want in a game like this.

I haven't seen enough of Christon to know. I just figured because of their size Sanford might guard him. But I agree that Dillard or Price would be the better matchup on CHriston.

Both teams seem to play wildly inconsistent, X even more so perhaps. It's really difficult to call this game. Could go either way. In Semaj we trust.

Oh, Corbra. For the THIRD time, not many X posters feel the palpable pressure (that's limited only to UD Arena!) And not many X posters are going to run away and disappear as you suggested I would ("vanish" I think is the term you used).

UD should win this game. This is the most depleted roster in Xavier has had in recent memory. It will likely be the most depleted roster Xavier will have for the foreseeable future. Hell, there are stretches of the game where 2 walk-ons and a low-major transfer are all on the court at the same time for significant minutes (Stenger, Amos, Philmore). If UD can't win tomorrow, the prospect of the Flyers EVER winning in Cintas aren't good.

Mr. Hoops,

Do you think Xavier will put Redford on Sanford or Dillard?
