And here I was worried about the "palpable" energy. Just got back from the game and thankfully I didn't sense the pressure that somehow arises out of UD arena for the home boys.

Congrats on the win. I was stuck listening on WHIO, and I have a question for you. What was the degree of difficulty on Christon's shot that ended up being the game winner? Tough to tell from a radio broadcast.

I don't want anyone gone. It all contributes to the rich tapestry that is the A10 board. Anyway, prolonged Dayton fandom inevitably leads to insanity. Please recommend any good psychologists you know once it becomes clear that I've gone off the deep end.

Just stay away from UDPRIDE for a week or two and that, in and of itself, may save you from further deterioration and expensive help.

Not too tough. He got a good amount of separation and it was from about 10 or 12 feet out.

Not sure how the final 3 was described on the radio, but it was about two thirds of the way down and somehow came out.

Great game and unlike some years the UD fans in our section were all cool and friendly. A little good natured ribbing but no real smack talk from either side.

HAHAHA. This may be the single best post I've seen on here in a while. I think Mr Muddy stopped posting when Dayton was leading 20-19.

But where all my Flyer friends, other than bprichard? Take a step back off the cliff... It will be OK. There's always next year.

I asked yesterday about Flyers 3 pt shooting... and I guess the Fordham game wasn't a fluke. 50%. How does Archie not keep Derenbecker in for more than 9 minutes?? He hit three 3's in about a 5 minute span in the first half.

After the two failed rebounding possibilities on the free throws, you could feel the palpable resignation from Larry and Bucky. After the second one, they just let several seconds of dead air pass. By the time Derenbecker's three pointer rattled out, they noted that it was half down, but their hearts had already been stomped on. Expectations were at a bare minimum.
