Fordham played well, but that means bunk now. Game ball to me goes to Carl Jones for his clutch free-throws down the stretch. 7-8 in the last minute, though the one miss could have been costly. Fordham's guards on the other hand went 4-8 down the stretch (last 4 minutes) and one of them being a huge missed front end with Fordham down 1. Fordham also made some really bad decisions late, both by the players and the staff. Kudos to St. Joe's for taking advantage and pulling out the victory. St. Joe's biggest downfall is going to be their depth, or lack there of. Their first 6 are close to the most solid in the A10 right now, but they don't have much after that. Still not sure what to make of Daryus Quarles as he looked good at times, but horrible at other points. |
