Illegal screens are basketball's holding. They could be called on nearly every possession, but they're never going to be called near the end of the game unless it's just blatant. Nice win for the Minutemen.

Only 6 FTs attempted by either team. Refs generally stayed out of it, but it wasn't a physical game regardless.

Disappointing crowd of just 2,723 in a gym that supposedly seats 3,400. That means that 20% of the seats in a very small capacity venue were empty. Given the great week the Explorers were coming off, I would have expected better.

I'm guessing it may be more comprehensive than just a usual report. That's how it goes when the Explorers come up short. Expect heavy visual aids....charts, graphs, etc.

No, but I did right before the game. I was ready to lose my lunch. The Explorers looked lethargic and UMass's length really bothered them. Last night Umass wanted it more and played harder. Kudos to them.

Good way to describe it. I HATE the way it is not called. It seems easy to fix. Point of emphasis, start calling it tighter, the players will change....but this has been a pet peeve of mine for years. Oh well.

The stats were almost identical for both teams. I have gained a lot of respect for La Salle ever since they beat UMass by 1 at home last year. Good luck to them the rest of the way this season.
