Ace93 - EXACTLY (which is why I assume that Bona03 has never played basketball). The intent of the rule is to stop players from from keeping there elbows really wide and then clearing out defenders with their elbows - we've all had it done to us and some of us have done it. You should watch the video on the Bonnie's site - Vinson's elbows are in about as much as they can be and still be holding the ball securely - which, to me, says he is showing intent NOT to violate the rule. Making that particular call is basically saying a defender can drape themselves all over you and you have no recourse but to accept either a FLAGRANT foul or a held ball. Either way the rebounder loses possession.m It is absurd.

Right around the 2 minute mark, if I recall, in the second half.

I watched Northeastern clinch a share of the CAA title live in person, sitting next to Jared Sullinger. Then immediately after, I had to catch a flight to go on a business trip.

In reality, I did not even watch the game, so I cannot comment. And I was too busy, so I could not comment. But congrats to the Welders, even though it sounds like you got a lot of home cooking.

Z8 - you really need to grow up. You call SBU "the Welders" and you talk smack about the game and then you hide for two days. Here's a little clue - "home cooking" doesn't account for 99 points. If you're going to talk smack and denigrate the UMass opponents at least have the balls to show up when the other teams wins. Loser.
