Since I didn't qualify last year in my first year doing this, what's the difference, if any, between finishing in the NCAA half and the NIT half??

the only difference is ncaa is top 8 people and nit are 9-16, it's all faux titles for bragging rights lol

I should probably pay attention to this since the end of the season is coming up. Is this "regular season" ending on Sunday, or does it continue through championship week next week and end on the following Sunday??

Louisville only has one big time player in Smith. Double digits are a lot to give a hungry and experienced Cincinnati team.
I took the points as well. The problem with Cincinnati is that while they are physically talented and can shoot when left open, no inside game when needed, and no real basketball smarts, just lotsa attitude when they are up, no gumption when forced to come back.

I've lost more than a few lock picks this season betting on that experience and hunger. But then again, I've been dismal all season.

an awful end to the memphis game results in a loss. The fouled a 3 point shooter up 3, he misses the first and 3rd (3rd intentionally), Memphis gets the rebound, misses the front end of a 1 and 1, UTEP knocks the ball out of bounds, memphis turns over the inbounds pass and utep misses at the buzzer, memphis wins by 2....

Not that it mattered in the outcome of my pick, but Marshall was up 3 and fouled Southern Miss last night with about 9.3 left. Southern Miss did not convert, but they fouled quick enough that they actually got 2 more possessions after that. I think that is why some coaches don't like to foul up 3. Guys are not smart enough to know exactly when (clock or depending on where player is).
