62-33 over the last 33 MINUTES! This team is severely lacking something from last year, oh yeah, it's the ability to be a basketball team. They have it in stretches, but you don't win in the A10 playing "stretches" of good ball.

I'm mad and frustrated, but we did witness history tonight. David Andoh played one of the worst (if not THE WORST) games I've ever seen by a Bonnie. Right up there with Solomon era players.

Not sure why UD turns to a frog in The Bill but they do. Nice win for UMass but a truly ugly basketball game.

Every time he gets the ball he looks to shoot. No, he shoots it. And every time that was a chance to dribble, run offense, maybe drive and pull a defender and dish to either Kaputo or Mobley for a bomb, or find Denzel in the lane. Every possession he got a touch he screwed up the offensive flow. Guys slump and that's OK but he's not the one to keep firing it up. Let Mobley shoot out of his slump. In crunch time against GMU they leaned on Gregg. Wtf they tried tonight I'm not sure. It was going to be hang on for dear life because it felt like UR would blow it open.. the blocked dunk/3 sequence was the catalyst. But that wasn't the reason for the loss.

Re: Wednesday 1/11 Games

What an embarrassing bag job by the refs in Richmond tonight. They made sure that we couldn't compete without our best player.

David Andoh's play tonight has made me consider moving to the Arctic circle and join an eskimo commune.

Hard to blow sunshine up anyone's ass after this one. Time to put Coburn on the floor and see what he can do.

Richmond is not that good and their announcers belong broadcasting wrestling matches in middle school cafeterias.

Good game by UMASS. If only my wife weren't such a tight ass...

Ace, you're setting the bar pretty high with your first post

Re: Wednesday 1/11 Games

I needed to bring it after that game.

Let's review, in this game we saw:

The Bonnies dimwitted, raw, promising? freshman get T'd up after losing it early in the game

History in David Andoh's sharp shooting. You couldn't play worse in oven mitts

Extremely biased officiating, typical of a trip to Richmond. They tried to give the Bonnies a couple of make up calls, but the scale was already tilted

Taqqee getting mauled and then seeing the ball go to the other end for a quick three to put the nail in the coffin.

I could keep going, but one of my predecessors in Boston.. Bill Russell has covered most of it post mortem.
