Unlike Bill, you had to jam a list shot in there, in only your second post.

Good job with #19 .

We are an angry bunch, Paul. I think it's the seasonal depression.

Re: Wednesday 1/11 Games

I just saw the block on Taqqee replay, I'm not convinced you could call that a foul live. It looked awfully good. Yeah he had his hand on Idris' back, and got a little bit of hand/forearm but if it was that bad #1 should have sold it a little. And you don't catch those things in a full speed replay. That was huge. A good non call. Sometimes the other team makes a play. Giving up the wide open no defense 3 on the other end was the killer.

Dayton area fans look for pictures of Cooke, Pollard and Smith on your milk cartons. They were mia last night.

Umass usually matches up with Dayton fairly well, but I have no faith in DKs ability to pull anything over on Archie.

The only thing that would give Umass a fighting chance would be if Pipkins and Jarreau can shoot at a reasonable percentage from outside for the entire game. Umass as a whole has been woeful from outside. Even when we get a little hot, it is short lived and goes cold when we really need it most.

Dayton 78 - Umass 61

Dammit - It looks like I am building another room for Ceasar's this spring!!!

Any win is satisfying against Dayton, but it would be so much more fun if Muddy were here to share my joy with!

The Mullins Center curse has plagued VCU as well. I think they spike the water coolers.

Re: Wednesday 1/11 Games

I thought Dayton did a really nice job last night of running the scout team. The horrendous turnovers, awful shot-selection and pitiful FT shooting really should have the Flyers prepared for when they play UMass. #sourgrapes

Can we play Richmond at the Mullins Center?

Hard to blow sunshine up anyone's ass after this one. Time to put Coburn on the floor and see what he can do.

Richmond is not that good and their announcers belong broadcasting wrestling matches in middle school cafeterias.
Watching your team on defence they thought they were.

Let's review, in this game we saw:

The Bonnies dimwitted, ready for RAW, promising 1.2 punches per minute? freshman get T'd up after losing it the TKO early in the game

History in David Andoh's sharp shooting. You couldn't play worse in oven mitts

Extremely biased officiating, typical of a trip to Richmond. They tried to give the Bonnies a couple of make up calls, but the scale was already tilted

Taqqee getting mauled and then seeing the ball go to the other end for a quick three to put the nail in the coffin.

I could keep going, but one of my predecessors in Boston.. Bill Russell has covered most of it post mortem.
The video vs UMass wouldn't have made the Bonnies top 10 most physical plays last night.
