So what you're sayin' is that Schmidt isn't interested in a buy game
Depends on the price. New loafers aren't cheap, particularly with an 8% sales tax.

I see New Mexico fired Craig Neal the other day. Among other issues, four players had transferred out in the previous 10 days including last year's leading scorer.

Scratch one potential "Top 100" team from the schedule.

That's too bad, really thought they could be a good opponent next season. I guess they still could be but I am not hopeful anymore.

We may not even play them. I'm hoping we get TCU and Maryland.

I wouldnt be surprised if we played both TCU and Maryland. I would guess the tournament would seed TCU then Maryland then Bona then NM. I know they dont officially do that but one would think they would want TCU and Maryland playing in the final vs the semi. So we knock off Maryland and then get a shot a TCU.

An excellent hire.

Where did the room on the staff come from?

Jerome Robinson left for New Mexico. Their new coach, Paul Weir, had ties to Robinson from Toronto.

Bob Hurley and Phil Martelli both praised Lee's hiring at Farleigh -- and not just a little.

http://www.fduknights.com/coaches.aspx?rc=407

St. Anthony head coach Bob Hurley on Coach Lee: “Dwayne is one of my favorite kids I have ever been associated with. The hiring of Dwayne was a great move for the University and a terrific opportunity for Dwayne. I know this will be a relationship that will get FDU back in the running in the NEC.”

Saint Joseph head coach Phil Martelli on Coach Lee: “In the long and proud tradition of Saint Joseph's University, no one has brought more honor to his family name, this program and this University than Dwayne Lee. His future in the coaching profession is bright and without limit."

Re: 2017-2018 St. Bonaventure Bonnies

The Bonnies have landed UNLV transfer Jalen Poyser, who averaged just over 10 ppg this past season. He'll sit this season, and then have two years remaining. That's a really big "get" for us, as he continues our Toronto pipeline. I remember when UNLV swooped in and got him in the spring a couple of years ago, and telling some friends, "We'll see him again in a year or two." Here we are...

A good get. A 4 star top 100 player in 2015.
