Omg!!! Unc Loses To Team Nike!!
UNC looks like they are still going to have some major problems. They lost to a Nike exhibition team by 4 tonight, the same team that Duke beat by 40!!!!
I know it's early and UNC is young, but Duke is young too, and they HANDLED this team last week.
Despite the loss, Sean May had 23 points and 11 rebounds. Ray Felton had 22 points, but 20 of them were in the first half.

With Felton scoring 20 in the first half and only 2 in the second, it gives me the impression that they played inconsistently throughout the game but have the talent to win. They may struggle early, but they're too talented to lose as much as last year.
If they don't win this year they'll be in the market for a new coach.

Why did you even make this post? I mean they are not playing against a bunch of bumbs out there. People see "Team Nike" and they think right away that the team sucks? Come'on, they have All Americans on that team, Texas SG Darren Kelly, Marquette PG Cornell Henry, David Graves, Cinnci SF Jamaal Davis, Cinnci big man Donald Little, Terrell Baker etc. So they are not playing against some bumbs or nothing, these are qualitiy college basketball players!
And they did not have McCants or Jackie in the game, and the numbers Felton and May but up is a great sign in my book of good things to come....

Ozzy, come on!
Duke just beat this same team BY 40!!! That's why I posted it! Don't get upset because your team lost!

One more thing...not a single player you mentioned was an all-american.

My bad I worded it wrong, they were All Conference players. Some were not great but they are quaility players. And we will just have to see who Duke does against UNC now won't we.
P.S. McCants and Jackie out on a team that is not deep in the first place, you have not mentioned that yet.
Keep avoiding the fact that Felton makes you Dukies pretty un-easy about you chances. If UNC could trade strait up for Duke class instead, I would not take it...

I saw the Duke class play in the Capital Classic in DC as well as Mays and McCants.
All I can say is that the UNC guys looked a lot better.

Mark it down now, Sean May is going to kick some tail this year. I've played some pickup with him in Bloomington and the kind can play.

Keep avoiding the fact??? When have I avoided the fact??? I'll come out right now and say HE DOESN'T SCARE ME. Sure, he may put up some good numbers, but as long as Doherty is on the bench, I have no fear of Carolina AT ALL.
I would definitely take Duke's deeper class than UNC's top-heavy class. There will be some memorable battles between May and Sheldon Williams before these guys are through. And next year's Duke class is ridiculous! And add DeMarcus Nelson after that, and whoever is added to his class. I'm not worried about UNC for a LONG time.
