Who is the top freshman in the ACC?
I think it's Chris Bosh, but Rashad McCants, J.J. Reddick, Raymond Felton and Sean May aren't too far behind.

I like McCants. I caught the end of the Bosh game for the ACC-Big10 challenge and he looked good as well.
Whoever it is, it is defnitely not a wahoo.

McCants of UNC very impress me after the Kansas/UNC game. Part of me that KU made him look good afterall KU played like crap. Of couse that will be making excuses. He did impressed me a lot, and I have to give him props.

the acc is loaded with talented frosh and when people rank them,or at least try ,you have to differentiate between now and pro potential,as far as the nba goes i would rank them;
1.chris bosh,i dont know about anyone else but he reminds me of a young tim duncan, enough said.
2.ray felton, gives you that physical pg look and is in a perfect situation there are unc, although i dont see him staying there too long.
3.shavlik randolph,i know he struggled a bit trying to guard 6-5 wing players but this guy has tremendous skill, will be a prototypical sf at the next level in that he can post up and also shoot facing the basket.
4.rashard mcants,he's a good college wing player but will be a little undersized for the pros,no doubt he will be special at unc.
5.sean may,too bad he got hurt because he was playing so well, gives you a little bit of a zach randolph look.
6.j.j. reddick,he will have to be a steve kerr, john paxson type at the next level but a great shooter and you cant have enough shooters.

With all of this amazing young talent in the ACC, it is easy to look over some of the lesser known players in the league. One in particular is Eric Williams of Wake Forest.
The 6-10 rookie had to play well due to the graduation of Darius Songalia and Antawn Scott from the frontline. Williams has stepped into the starting role and producing quite nicely, averaging 12.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. And shooting 60.9% from the floor.
Coming into the season, many thought he would be too big to contribute right away. But the McDonalds' All American has proven that he is committed to the Deacons and winning. He shed the extra L-Bs and looks stronger.
Williams is a good reason why Skip Prosser's club is 8-0 right now. As is freshman PG Justin Gray. He is averaging 10.9 points and 4.6 assists a contest.

rainman,
I hope your rankings were with respect to NBA potential. As far as ranking them for their college performances thus far I'd have to go with:
1. Redick
2. Bosh
3. McCants
4. E. Williams
5. Felton
6. Randolph
7. May
8. Gray
9. S.Williams
10. Dockery

Redick and McCants are both playing out of their minds.

No way, Mccants is much steonger, much more athletic, and is a much better shooter, Forte was a great college scorer, a guy who did not have a whole lot of athletic skills, but was just a smart player, who knew how to get his shot off
