Damion Grant - 6'11 245 lbs. C
Grant, who's headed to North Carolina, is a guy that few have seen outisde the northeast, but he's headed to a big time program so fans are curious. Well, Grant does possess great size and he's a very good leaper for a kid weighing as much as he does, but he's got a long way to go as a basketball player. Defensively, we thought he was very good. He moved his feet well and got off the floor quickly to swat shots. He only shot 1-2 from the floor and did not go to the free throw line at all, so it's hard to determine what's there offensively, but he did have trouble holding on to the ball, dropping several interior passes, and based on other reports we've gotten on him, that's a trend. He doesn't rebound well either for a big man. Grant has some tools, so it will be interesting to see if the young coaching staff at UNC can develop his potential in the next four years.

I heard he was closer to 7-1

That Damion Grant is 7-1 maybe 7-2. Why do we list him at 6-11. That really Pisses me off
