Roy Williams...back to his roots
I know you Kansas fans are crying, but did you really think Kansas was Roy's dream job?
He is nothing but class and I look forward to him finishing his career where he truly belongs. He can go ahead and bring Padgett with him too. Go Heels!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Re: Roy Williams...back to his roots
Hey RayF, do you know if Padgett has committed to Kansas yet? I heard he prefered UNC over Kansas in the first place but only picked kansas because of Roy. He should be smart and come here too.

Man Roy looks good infront of that Carolina Blue!
Great coach, great person and he will bring UNC back to the top of the college basketball world! He brings stability to a unstable program, and he brings a winning mentality as well. He has proven he can win and I expect the same thing at UNC. He has a very talented group of players next year.
PG Felton/ Scott
SG McCants/ Manuel/ Scott
SF Williams/ Terry/
PF Noel/ Williams/ Sanders
C May/ Grant
With Raymond running the show at PG I think Roy's style of coaching will fit very good with UNC. UNC now has a identity just like Kansas had, and that is the fast break.
Watch out Duke, there is a new sheriff in the ACC!

Definitely. Being a winner myself, I know a winner when I see one. He definitely loves to win. He's very competitive. It's just a good feeling to know a guy is on the same page you are and have always been. I think all the players feel that way.

Quote from Raymond Felton
On if he watched Kansas in the Final Four and thought that was how he wanted to play their style

Definitely, that's my style. That's the same kind of style I played in high school.

Kansasalumn:
What do you think about coach Williams choice? And who do you think would be the best fit for the Kansas job now that Roy is gone?

How long before they fire
Roy Williams
I can hear it now
May: Daddy , mean old Roy Boy said I had to lose weight? But I like my twinkies
McCants: Man that stupid mofo said I had to play D. Winners dont play D.
Williams: hey Mr. Baddour we need to get this clown out of here or else I am leaving and if my car breaks down I might end up at MD.
The only UNC players I like are Felton and Noel, the others can eat my shorts.

DaFuture and Springsteen:
Please, you are more intellegent than that! Criticizing kids because they don't like the coach when there is obvious problems with him is not wrong. And I would bet you $100 that they will never criticize Coach Williams as much as they did with Doherty. Yeah you never critized a boss behind his back! Yeah , sure you haven't! Quit making fun of the players for expressing their view on a coach, and by the way I would much rather have Williams that Doherty anyway, but I guess they are better of with Doherty, sure....
Again you have never criticized a boss in your entire life? The only difference in this situation is that the boss got fired because college sports is covered by something called the media, and the media has had a track record of blowing ever little detail out of proportion by the way...
