Re: Basel's Cornucopia of Random Thoughts
I was playing NBA 2K7 earlier on my XBOX (Yes, I realize I'm behind the times and need to upgrade) and I was the Lakers going up against the Celtics in Boston. It was one of the most fun games I've played. Hall of Fame difficulty, 9 minute quarters. Game was tied at 104 with 20 seconds left. Rajon Rando had the ball, dribbling out the clock, hoping to get the final shot for his team, and with with 3 seconds left, he threw an errant pass to a wide open Paul Pierce...who caught the ball and stepped out of bounds. Lakers ball, timeout. Kobe inbounds the ball to Lamar Odom, who passes it right back to Kobe. With Pierce draped all over him, Kobe shoots a 3-pointer, and it goes in at the buzzer! Lakers win 107-104!
Kobe ended up with 33 points, 6 assists. Lamar Odom had 20 points and 8 rebounds, and Sasha came up big as he scored 18 points off the bench. For the Celtics, Ray Allen went off for 35 points, most of which came in the 2nd half. Paul Pierce scored 25 points, but nobody else on the Celtics did much. Garnett only had 5 points. I'm hoping this end result could be a preview of the game tonight. GO LAKERS!

Re: Basel's Cornucopia of Random Thoughts
I don't like it because I really don't talk to anyone out here. All my friends and cousins are in another city, and are at least 45 minutes away. I don't bother to try and meet many people out here because I know I'll be gone in no time. But it still sucks. That's why I'm always posting a lot (especially in this last year or so). I go to my classes, come home, chill, eat, whatever. Do homework, watch sports, go online and see what's new. It's a rather boring life, but this summer should hopefully change that.

Apple Valley. Most people have no idea where it is unless I tell them that it's one of the cities you pass on your way to Vegas.

Re: Basel's Cornucopia of Random Thoughts
I am indeed much more calm today than I was last night. It's time to go out and play some basketball with my cousins and friends - that'll help out any anger I still have.

Re: Basel's Cornucopia of Random Thoughts
Haha, I'm not that good. I actually started off pretty terrible (we were playing 3 on 3) as my shot was just off - part of it had to do with the fact that we played outdoors and it was pretty windy at times, and part of it had to do with the fact that I just sucked. However, as time went on, I started playing much better, and ended up hitting the game-winning shot in the last game. I'm about to go play again in a little over an hour. Should be fun.

Re: Basel's Cornucopia of Random Thoughts
I'm 6'1". The thing that sucks is that I'm taller than most of my friends and cousins, so when we play, they want me to play as Center, and I hate it because I'm not the strongest person in the world, and my post-up game needs some work.

Basel uses his Magic Carpet to dunk. It's invisible.
