I hate this rotation right now. It's in San Diego. And you're thinking, how can you hate this rotation if you're spending September in SD? Well, I work too damn much, I'm alone, and it's 85 in my room because it's the one apartment without ac. I mean seriously! On top of that there is ZERO breeze and the flight path goes about 200m from my window. They're supposed to stop landing at 11pm, they don't stop until they're done, sometimes as late as 1am. So I don't fall asleep until late because i have to have my windows open or die of smothering (the bad kind, not the kind we all want to go out by). Then I get up at 6am to be on the road by 6:45 to make it to clinic by 7:30 (yes, a 45 minute drive!) and then go to another clinic 15 minutes from where I'm staying but I have to drive past my place to get there, so it takes an hour. I'm there until 10pm. Rinse and repeat. At least I have friday's off.

Oh PS, PP I thought of you on saturday when I was at the beach. There were some brits hanging out and one of them was a ginger but a creepy ginger, you know the kind. I only noticed them because one of the girls in their group was topless. F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. I told my fiance and she asked if I donned mirrored sunglasses. I told her yes. You weren't in SD were you? He was a ginger.... how many gingers can there be in England?

I just got an email from Groupon entitled "Custom Massage". I opened it thinking that it was a message from Groupon, like a free Groupon or something, but it wasn't. It was for a massage. The I was like, "Oh, SNAP!" and closed the email.

Because 9/11 threads piss me off. They're hardly for mourning anymore, they're just circle-jerks. I don't see any other mass tragedies getting sob threads every year on their anniversary. How many people even know the date of the Japanese tsunami or the Haiti earthquake, off the top of their heads? Both had much bigger death tolls.

Japanese tsunami/earthquakes was the 11th/12th March. I remember because the 12th was my 18th birthday and getting stupidly legally drunk for the first time whilst everyone in the pub was watching that was weird.

Haiti earthquake was a few days after the 9th January, cos it was a few days after my dad's birthday.

Something about this family, birthdays and natural disasters, man.

So it's only okay to mourn about something if you mourn about every disater that has ever happened regardless of personal significance or the effect that it had on someone's life? That's retarded.

Unless you lost someone in 9/11 I don't see how it could be more personally significant than any other world tragedy.
