Canadian Thanksgiving. One of my roommates has gone home for the weekend and my other one is at her friends' for Thanksgiving dinner. I guess I could've gone as well but I wasn't up for a whole night of being friendly to a bunch of people I barely know... and frankly, the person whose house the dinner is at creeps me out.
I guess it's take-out and Dexter and then more work!

Unfortunately it's a bit awkward distance at the moment, it's not far enough that I can't go over on a bus or two, but it's so far that if I went to just go spend an hour or so with her, it'd take me an hour+ there and back. And with me not getting a car till February, I only see her once a week at the moment, if that. It's really good when I do see her though, so hopefully she doesn't get tired of the distance by February and then I'm sure it'll get even better when I can see her more. Started university a few weeks ago as I said a couple of posts up. Finally starting to put the pieces together on some semblance of a plan for my life. Still eventually hoping to move over and work for a basketball team in America, although I haven't fully looked into a realistic timetable for that. Not for a long while anyway. Enjoying work too, they've employed some new workers who are pretty cool people as opposed to the dicks that left for university, so it's much improved. The only bad thing at the moment is that yesterday I was playing football and felt my thigh muscle pop, leaving me down in instant agony. No-one was around me I was just running, but lots of pain. Hopefully that won't keep me out for too long. How about you? |

Can't sleep. Decided to write my appeal letter after lying in bed tossing and turning. Raptors preseason is a nice bonus.
