My cousin gave birth to a baby girl last night. She was three weeks early, but both she and baby are doing great. The girl is 5 pounds. Crazy! Tiniest baby I've seen/held ever.

Congrats Baze! Tis indeed a small baby, it's crazy how we grow from being that small.

PP, maybe you could apply a strategy shift between interviews? If you're confident in your ability to read people, and how they'll react to different personas, maybe it would be beneficial to go in 100% truthful. Walk into the interview reeking of swag, harnessing complete confidence, and when asked why you were fired tell him flat out the truth. ****, extrapolate on it a bit. Tell him this asshole was coming on to your girl, that she felt uncomfortable and violated (which, I presume, very well may be the truth) and that you reacted in a most natural, loyal manner out of concern for someone who is very dear to you towards someone who was acting incredibly inconsiderate.

With the right performance in front of the right person, that could do you better than walking in feeling as if you have a secret to hide. Anytime you go into a situation and you're self-aware of something that's working against you, it never, ever helps. But you already know that.

I third the need to shave. It's probably the longest I've ever let it grow out, it's not even close to a grizzly full beard but it's getting close and won't do for the interviews next week.

Fourth the need to shave. And **** everything about being sick. I rarely get ill but when I do it's a prolonged affair, and never fun. I think my reluctance to shave the past few days has been a psychological thing, I feel it adds to my whole image of feeling under the weather.

I haven't shaved since August. I wouldn't say I need to, but I probably will in a week or so before I get a haircut. I tend to do both together.
