Sordid affairs, or language? Not too far on either. I've got numbers down, plus some key phrases here and there, but I'm not too capable on the listening end (or speaking beyond my memorized phrases).

Yeah, June is far away. Still a long way to go.

I was referencing language, but any details on sordid affairs are always welcome, you know that.

While I am confident that Chicago is where I belong, I don't know that it'll quite be time for me to be there yet when June rolls around (at least not on a full-time basis). I'll be looking for a regular math gig when spring gets here, though that could be tricky given the fact that I'll need to acquire a license for whichever state is trying to hire me (plus having to purely rely on online means for everything). The ideal scenario is a math gig in Chicago, but I don't think that's likely. I'll settle for one anywhere at this point.

Backup plan could either be a return to my current gig or a nonteaching job if I can find one that pays well enough to be reasonable. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

No recognition on the Paloma Faith front.

Thanksgiving coming up; anyone cook anything or do you all just eat the food? I tried my hand at mashed potatoes and a turkey last year (with some help) and it turned out well. Same with cranberry sauce.
