I hope you didn't wait for the guy outside...so this is the trial you've been mentioning.

I've wanted to hop that customer service desk quite a few times. When that happens I think about the skit from the Chappelle's Show "When keeping it real goes wrong". It has a calming effect.

I think, I could be on his ass before he blinks, but I must not. I'm talking about co-workers, not customers.

It's that everyday shit man....dealing with that wears down your morale. So I feel ya and wish you the best.

Nah, we all went out to a club, drank too much, it was 2am, dude looked like he was flirting with my girl so I hit him.

I'd never lose my shit at work, it was just exceptional circumstance that I didn't quite understand the ramifications of beforehand.

That sounds unjustified. I try to compartmentalize these things. Hitting the town with folks that aren't your own people, that's never worked in my favor.

If you've been drinking and think you see someone talking to your girl, I can see it being a little justified, lol. Did you ever find out if he was ACTUALLY flirting or you just assumed so?

I don't care either way. If it's 2am, don't be talking to my girl when the bar is full of other women.

I know I can be an unreasonably jealous guy, it's not a good look, but my life has led me down this path. I'll figure it out one day and let it go, until then, I need to make sure I never find myself in that situation again (drunk, co-workers, girlfriend = disaster).

I had the assessment for the other job today. I rushed it but still think I probably did enough to get the position.

Always good to have a back up, even if the back up just makes you realise how much you want the real goal.

That's how I am right now to a degree and my girlfriend hates it. But I can't help it. She's always asking me if I trust her, and I'm like, yes I do, but I don't trust guys around you so this is me - accept it. And she does.

And I'm with you - if it's 2 a.m., there's no reason for your coworker of all people to be talking to her. He should know better than that.
