Well we've always been friends, that and I don't really burn bridges. So I went into it thinking that it would just be two friends out on the town. It basically was, but I found myself falling for her again.

For what it's worth, I'm also of the non-bridge-burning type and have made my fair share of similar not smart decisions. I need to have something going on to attempt anything like that, otherwise I'm just setting myself up for blech city.

You're not alone in that boat, UD. One of my best friends was an ex who took a long time to get over, and yeah, we aren't close friends anymore cos I can't really do it.

Yep. This happened with me and my only serious girlfriend ever. We were very close even after we broke up but I realized I couldn't do it anymore... She ended up moving to America so that made it easier to get over her.

It helps a lot that she's become a mega-bitch since then lol

It's so true when they say you can't just be friends with someone you like/have been with. Feelings occur. Haha. It sucks but it is what it is. Can't control it. Just gotta deal with it.

Speaking of girls you like, I took my girlfriend to the Lakers game Friday night and even dragged her to the unveiling of the statue for Kareem. She doesn't know anything about the Lakers but she knows it makes me happy, haha. I feel like not a lot of girls I know would've sat through two and a half hours of a statue unveiling of a player they know nothing about and then go to the game and cheer for your team even though they're not a basketball fan. And she had a good time. She's a keeper.

We both got KAJ bobble heads and took pictures in front of all the statues. Good times. Sitting 8 rows back isn't too bad, either.

Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents is the most annoying programme I've ever watched, yet I still continue to watch.

I don't know if you have a version over in America, I hope for your sakes you don't. Basically, teens go on holiday, think they're on a programme about holidays and teen drinking, but really, their parents go along and watch everything they do. And then act surprised when they do stupid stuff when shitfaced drunk.

I'm so happy I have the parents I do.

The plan was to get a car in February/March, but a friend of the family is selling one for cheap so my dad is going to check it out tomorrow. I really hope it's good, get these ****ing buses and taxis out of my life.
